1st year students have now completed their Reading Competition. The winners, N.Aidán were presented with their prize of cinema vouchers by Ms Forde today.
The AGM of the SMGS Parents Association will take place in Room 1 on Tuesday 13th November 2018 @ 8pm.

Awards night will be taking place next Thursday 8th November in the Oriel House Hotel in Ballincollig. We wish to congratulate all this year’s award winners and we look forward to welcoming them and their families on Thursday night. The Awards ceremony will begin at 7.30 pm sharp and refreshments will be served beforhand from 7pm.

Transition Year Students will sit their end of module exams in the next few days. Students will be situated in the Study Hall and C1/C2. Full attendance is expected for all exams. TY students will attend classes as normal for times that exams are not scheduled.
Our 5th year L.C.V.P. class will be holding a fundraiser for the charity “Enable Ireland” on the 23rd October. For this fundraiser we ask 1st and 4th year students to participate in a “24 hour no phones challenge”. The money raised from this fundraiser can help provide a Tobii Indie tablet – designed for children with speech and language disabilities such as non-verbal autism, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.
